As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize system performance, we’re seeking your feedback on the default retention period (# of days) for system jobs. 🗂️
Background: Workflows and plug-ins generate numerous records in the System job (AsyncOperation) table, impacting database storage. Currently, out-of-the-box bulk deletion jobs retain successful system jobs for 30 days. 📅
Our Plan: We’re planning to enhance bulk delete jobs to include cleanup of failed and canceled system jobs for operation types like System Event and Workflow.
But what’s the right default retention period? 🤔
