Vertical Gallery has too many text boxes

I have a vertical gallery that populates based on an excel table. I had a screen that used a table with 17 values, and I just tried to change the items in the gallery to a table that has 11 values. However, the number of text boxes are still at 17.

Would there be any specific reason why this is? I would rather not have to delete and recreate the entire gallery.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Even though you change the data source it will retain controls from previous data source. You need to delete the textbox manually which are not necessary for you.

    Hi,

I am unable to delete the overflow textboxes as I can only edit one text box, with the rest of the text boxes being impacted. These are all the controls that are shown in my treeview.

Is there another way to manually change the number of text boxes?

@Anonymous Galleries have a Template. In your Template you have ONLY 1 TextBox and 1 Label, which is correct. When the Gallery displays the Items (Rows), it will display the number of Rows that the datasource in the Items property is returning. If you see 17 textinputs (17 rows) that means your data has 17 rows. You can't get rid of these Textinputs by deleting anything. You have to check your datasource and make sure it is returning only the desired number of rows (11 in your case).

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply! Turns out I'm just blind and my table did in fact have 17 values. Thanks for the help!
