Hi everyone

Some users are experiencing the following error when attempting to open Power Apps:

LocalStorage Error.png

Checked online and appeared to be browser related, but I cannot find the option to Allow local data to be set (recommended).

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/troubleshooting-startup-issues

Has anyone else faced this issue? appears to be a problem in IE with some users

    Hi @PowerAGuy ,

Please follow the below steps to set "Allow Local data to be set"

    Google Chrome

    1. Click the context menu in the browser toolbar to the right of the address bar.
    2. Choose Settings.
    3. Click "Show Advanced Settings."
    4. Click Content settings in the Privacy section.
    5. Ensure that the bullet for "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" is checked.
    6. Also ensure that "Block third-party cookies and site data" is unchecked.

Below is the complete article on this:

I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.

    Regards,
    Krishna

    Hi @KrishnaV

Thanks I have already seen similar articles

This is where I get stuck and cannot see the option I need:

In Chrome Click the ellipses top right > Settings > Advanced at the bottom of the screen > I don't see any Privacy settings

    So I tried:

The ellipses top right > Settings > Privacy and security (Left Navigation) > Here I see Cookies and Site Data (but again no option for Allow Local data)

It's as though I'm using an older version of Chrome, but clearly states:

Google Chrome is up to date
    Version 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)

If anyone is facing this problem, try clearing your caches and browsing history. It worked for me.
