Sending a Proactive Message to User in Copilot Studio

Hi,

Is it possible to send a proactive message to the user in copilot studio? I see there were some ways in the old power VA but is there any way to do it with Copilot Studio?

If not what is the best way to enable this for the bot built with copilot studio?

If you are using Microsoft Teams as a channel, you could use this documentation below:

Otherwise, if you are using a Custom Website, you could use this documentation below (to start the chat with the user when the bot is started):

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/customize-default-canvas?tabs=web

Any other channel will not be allowed to send proactive messages.
