Hi Experts,

Recently I came up with an idea on how we could create a whole new chatting app using PowerApps.

Below are the few links that I found post researching on this topic:

Plus, what I want to implement while creating a chatting app is the ability to Translate the Chat messages as per the user's choice.

Example: One user is from US and other from China. They could use this app to chat among themselves in their own regional language. Whatever the Chinese person sends to US person get's translated to English and vice verse for Chinese.

Secondly,

I want to make a proper structure of the app,

Data Storage [Dataverse or Sharepoint], am not sure which one whould be better and how I could use any of the for storing & retrieving the data.

If anyone of you Experts have any sought of idea or instrcutions for me on how I could begin this app development would be really helpful.

This is going to one of my biggest App Develpment. That's why I came out to seek help/assistance from all you Experts.

Why do you want to replicate a functionality which already is build in in Teams?

I want to make this app for the clients who don't use MS Teams in their environment and this could help them to communicate with us no matter wherever they belong.

Okay, let me get this straight. You have accounts in a tenant, licensed with a seeded PowerApps License from Office365 (where Teams is always included), as there is no other way to use this Power App. And instead of using the included Teams license to communicate in a very powerful way (with MS Teams and all its features) you want to develop an own limited chatting app to mimic the behaviour of Teams?
