New Dataverse tables not showing up in Admin Center to grant security role access

Hello,

I recently created a couple new tables in Dataverse but they don't show up in the security roles section of my admin center, so I'm not able to get users the ability to add records to the tables. Any ideas for how to get this working properly again? I should have 11 custom tables in security roles but it only shows 9.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @k_chaplin

Use the web client version to access security roles, perhaps it is a specific bug in the new version.
I also recommend you post the entire solution

    Hi @k_chaplin

If the table is of the 'Activity' type then it wouldn't show up in the security roles and the security permissions of 'Activity' table will apply to those 'activity' type custom tables also.

I hope this information helps. Please give a Thumbs Up to my reply if you appreaciate my efforts. If it helps you with your query then please also accept it as a solution so that it can help others with similar queries.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards

    Steps to try:

    1. Publish all customizations. Simple, I know. But sometimes people do things quickly and forget to publish all. Ctrl+F5 to do a hard refresh afterwards too.

    2. Use the classic editor - go to Advanced Setting and open your solution from there and then open the security role. See if the tables are there now.

    3. As stated in another reply, your table will only show up as long as it’s not an Activity table. If it’s an activity table, all permissions fall under Activities permissions.

    4. If all else fails, create a new security role and see if your table shows up. Sometimes the security roles do strange things.

    hope that helps!

    Hi @Jmanriquerios , @gulshankhurana , and @ivan_apps

Thank you all for the replies, and sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you! I've tried all of these options but none of them seem to be working. I'll keep looking around for solutions & reply here if I find one.

Can you let us know if you have an activity table or not?

    Hi @ivan_apps ,

All of my custom tables have the "Standard" table type.

"Publish all Customizations" in Dev and/or in Prod worked for me

    Try the below steps

Open the Environment where the table exists
Click Gear Icon at the TOP
    Select Settings
    Select Security
    Select Security Roles
Open the role and check the same.
