COE Starter Kit - Set New App Owner - Filter based on type of app

For the Set New App Owner, I think it would be really nice to be able to filter apps based on SharePoint list embedded apps and other apps.

Why? I just spent 2 hrs trying to change the owner for a list embedded app and finally realized that I can't. The owner is no longer part of the organization and so the admin sync flows that gather information for apps are failing, so I tried to change the owner to the current Site Collection Admin.

So why does it show up in this app? All permissions are based on the list, not at the app level.

Could you share more detail with your issue? I have test that the owner of embedded app cannot be changed. Please check:

That's exactly the problem, I want a checkbox to filter the embedded apps out of the "Set New App Owner" as I cannot change the permissions for them.

You are correct, the PowerAppsforAdmins.SetAdminAppOwner and PowerAppsforAdmins.GetAdminAppRoleAssignment actions fail for SharePoint embedded forms with the failure code "No permission to the SharePointFormApp". The PowerApps Admin connector doesn't seem to support this functionality for SharePoint embedded forms.

I will work on filtering this out of the Set New App Owner canvas app. We are aiming for a new release early in the near year. Thank you for pointing this out!
