Hi All,

I have a 3 stage business process flow - New, First Review & Final Review.

The second stage is conditional and it depends on the entered data in the first stage.

I'm working on a requirement where the item should move automatically between stages once the record is saved. For that I'm using a workflow (standard workflow, not Power Automate Flow) to transition the item & set the active stage based on what the user has selected.

Issue I'm having is that upon initial Save (first time creation) the item remains in New stage. If the user re-saves the item or selects the Refresh button, that is when the item gets moved to the next stage in the process.

has anyone come across such behavior?
