Integrating Copilot with Teams Voice (Teams Calls/Phone)

Hi,

 

We would like to leverage Teams Voice (i.e., Teams Calls and Teams Phone) for a customer support scenario with generative responses from a knowledge base. Is there a channel in which we can do this in Copilot Studio? Not just typed chat, but also with speech (voice dictation, transcription, synthesized responses, etc.).

 

We noticed that there is a Dynamics 365 Customer Service (Omnichannel) that appears to support this use case, but we do not know if it can integrate with Teams in the same manner. Nor did we plan on using Dynamics 365.

    I'm with you. In ChatGPT, users can click the little microphone and it converts to a voice conversation with the bot. Why does it seem impossible to do this with Copilot Studio? The tool would be so much more useful if I could have a hybrid conversation--saying most of it, but for certain questions, typing out/using copy/paste to enter information.
