Add filed to dialog view for edit document properties of sharepoint document

Hi there

I work with Dynamics 365 and have files attached to Accounts. So I see that these attachments are stored/referenced in the Sharepoint Document entity. I added a new filed to the table, but can not figure out where I could add the field to the dialog view which pops up when selecting a document and click on "Edit Properties". The dialog view has a data-id "EditSharePointDocumentProperties".

Does any one know where this view/form can be amended?

    Hello,

I might be wrong but those properties are the properties you are limited to edit. I don't think it's possible to extend the list of available properties.

    Hi,

Did you manage to solve this? I am facing the same situation were I want to be able to update document properties from Dynamics 365 and the associated subgrid view.

I tried adding a new boolean column in table "sharepointdocument" and also added a boolean column in the integrated SharePoint document library. Then added the new powerapps view component, I am able to make changes within the view from D365 but when deselecting the SharePoint document I get the following error:

The 'Update' method does not support entities of type 'sharepointdocument'. MessageProcessorCache returned MessageProcessor.Empty.

    HI

Many people are running into this issue.  This is great integration with Sharepoint but most use case, user want to classify the type of document.  Anyone else has any luck other then having to use a PCF?
