Power Apps Grid Control - Nested Subgrid Broken

Hi guys, just putting this out there and seeing if anyone else is seeing the same issues we are.

Now that the fancy, new editable PowerApps Grid Control is out of preview and generally available, and we've had a use case on a new feature for it (custom entity for invoices and related line items) we've gone ahead and included it in our software release. Went through testing, all passed and happy days.

Fast forward to now, a client calls up and the nested subgrid is showing up as blank for every record. If you open the invoice record you can still see the related line items associated with it but they aren't showing up in the nested grid.

We've tried changing the configuration, removing the control from the entity and re-adding it and it just seems that the nested grid functionality is completely borked. Is anyone else seeing this?

Hi @Fooksie ,

I've just tried it out. In my organization and I can still see records inside my nested grids with Power Apps Grid.

Maybe the bug didn't reach my organization yet. A few weeks ago I've seen some issues with the customizing though...I have the feeling that the classic (old) customizing was performing better. But if you say it worked already, I don't think that's the issue.

Speaking about GA: as far as I know, the Power Apps Grid is not in preview anymore, but there was no GA announcement about nested grids. So I suppose nested grids are not production ready yet.

Ugh, I didn't noticed the "(Preview)" at the end of the nested subgrid and just assumed that because the new functionality was GA that all of it was GA.

Yeah, nested subgrids are definitely not production-worthy yet. Unfortunately, there's also bugs in the filtering where you can apply and then remove and it looks like they've removed the filtering but it's still applied, so they've 100% broken a few things in the latest update to the control.
