See the screenshot attached - the search box where the red arrow is pointing to, only applies to EQUALS of the UNIQUE NUMBER, so the user will have the type the entire unique number.
How do I change it to search for CONTAINS, in the CLIENT NAME field instead? Is it possible?
I found it.
The 'find by' column in the quick find view had to be changed.

you can use wildcards (*) before and after, like such
*88712*
Then it will search for anything that contains 88712, even inside a long sequense
