Power Apps in Power Pages Inquiry

Hi,

 

I have an inquiry regarding embedding Power Apps in Power Pages:

 

1. Are internal users (within the tenant) only capable of accessing the canvas app embedded in Power Pages?

 

2. If so, can I say that external users are only able to access said canvas app if they use a guest Azure AD to sign into Power Pages?

 

3. Is it possible for external users to use their own external Azure AD to sign into Power Pages and be able to access said canvas app as long as they have their own Power Apps per user license?

 

4. Is there any way for users via local authentication to access the embedded canvas app?

 

Feel free to correct me if I've made any wrong statements or assumptions.

    Hi @chiachanglin,

     

    1. Internal users should be able to access your embedded power app.
    2. Yes, as long as the guest Account has the correct security roles etc.
    3. No, unfortunately not. A good example is the User. function which cannot work in an embedded app as the user is not connected to your dataverse.
    4. This is currently not possible. Same reason as in point 3.
