Edit a restored version of an app?

Hello,

Trying to troubleshoot an app here and for some reason I cannot Restore old version>Select App>Select Edit and have the restored version opened. It continues opening another version that's not even the live version. Am I missing something here? How do you test/edit a restored version of an app?

Hi @DVOP when you restore an app version, this version will become the 'new' version on top.

After restoration, this will be the app version you open in edit mode, unless this version is then manually published.

If you open the app in play mode, this will always show the live (published) version.

Should the app display an older version in play mode, try to wait a few minutes and/or refreshing the Make.Powerapps website. It could be that the live app is still being updated in the background.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello LarensM,

Thank you for helping. I feel like I'm going crazy because that's how it's always worked and never with any issues. But no matter what I do or how long I wait, the app is always stuck on the live version and will not change to any previous version when selecting edit.

Is there something I'm missing all of the sudden? Is there another way to directly launch an old version of an app? How do I even view the version of an app I'm working on apart from going to settings and session details?

I also have this problem. I restore an older version and if I publish it, the restored version appears when played but the restored version is not what is showing in the editor.
