Hi,

I am working on an app that would let users register for scheduled events.  for each event I have a stert date/time and an end Date/time. How can I check a users exchange calendar to see if the user is available at the time of the event?

    Hi @Anonymous,

If you create the Meeting Capture sample app, there's a lot of content in there that is relevant to your use case that you can pick apart. One of the screens should have a formula for figuring out everyone's schedule against parameters. The underlying method is that you are using the Graph connector to access that information.

Let me know what you can learn once you take some time to try it out.

    Hi @Anonymous,

By Exchange calendar, did you mean the on-premise Exchange? If so, currently this is not supported for PowerApps or Microsoft Flow, there are ideas submitted on this:

Ability to send an notifications using on-premise Exchange

Further, if your exhange version is Exchange 2016 Cumulative Update 3 (CU3) or above, then REST API should be supported.

See this blog for more details:

On-Premises Architectural Requirements for the REST API

Which then you could take use to build a custom API and then follow the aricle below to work with PowerApps/Flow:

    Some more reference for you:

Connect to custom on-premises APIs using data gateway

    Regards,

    Mona
