Solution failed to import: Could not verify the user permission on' resource. Make sure that Microsoft.PowerPlatform provider is registered in the Azure subscription.

Hi everyone,

I know this may seem a simple issue, and I hope it is. I created a solution containing a Canvas app and flows alongside several Environment variables, some of them referencing Azure Key Vault secrets.

I'm moving this solution to a different Environment that is not part of the same Microsoft tenant and I'm getting this error every single time I tried to import the solution: Solution failed to import: Could not verify the user permission on' resource. Make sure that Microsoft.PowerPlatform provider is registered in the Azure subscription.

  • I'm making sure to use the same credentials as the ones used in the original solution that I'm trying to import.
  • I created a dummy secret in an Azure subscription that's part of the same tenant as the environment in which I want to import the solution, I was able to properly create the Environment Variable and consume the secret through a flow.
  • I also tried to replace the value of all the Environment variables connected to a secret with the value of the dummy secret I created during the import process. I still have the same issue, apparently, Power Platform still considers the old secret value instead of the new one I passed.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance

I follow the next steps to fix this issue
    Unzip the Managed Solution:
First, unzip the managed solution that contains the environment variable you want to modify.
    Edit environment_variable_values.json:
Locate the environment_variable_values.json file within the unzipped solution.
Update the values in this file to match your desired changes.
Specify the Correct Environment Variable Value Record GUID:
Ensure that you provide the correct GUID of the target environment’s environment variable value record. This GUID corresponds to the specific environment where you want to apply the changes.
    Import the Modified Solution:
Import the modified managed solution into the target environment.
The import process will recognize the updated environment variable values and apply them accordingly.
