Send an email to Sharepoint list group from PowerApp using Flow (Power Automate)

Hi there

I'm really new to this.

I'm trying to build an interface in PowerApps which my colleagues (who are quite Flow adverse) can email out to an email list in SharePoint lists.

I've built this Flow:

Power app email flow.PNG

And I'm trying to link it to this PowerApp Screen using the send icon in the top left hand corner:

Power app.PNG

I've listed the Subject box and the Body box, however, I get an error saying that I have two many arguments and it is expecting 0 arguments.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    Hi @PipManifold ,

From what I can see, there are two inputs required (From and Body), which is what you are expecting. You are also retrieving a couple of items from the SharePoint List (email and title) and I assume you are sending emails to everyone in the list, so all looks correct.

I am happy to try and troubleshoot this further for you, but before we do that, I am wondering if it would be better to collect the mail list (if it is under 2000 items) and then do an Apply to Each on Office365Outlook.SendEmail - that way you would not need the flow at all (and save on you company allocation.

    @PipManifold

I have made a test on my side based on your description. But don't have the issue you mentioned.

Did you test in the flow? Did it work well?

My suggestion is to check if the Test in flow can work. and then create a new app to test if it can work in PowerApps.

    The following is my test

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @PipManifold ,

Confirmed by @v-siky-msft 's test (although I did not recreate it), I could see nothing wrong with your Flow - PowerApps should asking for two parameters.

@PipManifold  This kind of error pops up when you made any changes to flow after binding the flow within power apps. Just remove the existing binding of your flow from power apps and go back to flow and just save it one more time and again bind the flow to your send button. It will work. I got these errors several times and fixed after removing the existing binding and rebind it back again.
