Hi,

i have an issue with the datacardvalue that i added an edit rich text control to allow users to style and format what they write but its showing codes i don't need between the words. i am not using multiple lines of text type on my SharePoint list, am using single line of text and still having this issue when am using the edit rich text. i tried to find a solution and no one knows about it. could anyone help in this one. because its not nice to be like that and staff can't edit easily and its reflecting in SharePoint like that.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please tell me that how you set the Update property of the data card corresponding to the edit rich text control?

Do you want to save the plain text to the single-line-of-text column using a RichTextEditor control?

Actually, single-line-of-text column could not save plain text from RichTextEditor control. Only a multi-line-of-text column with "use enhanced rich text" enable could achive your need.

Please change the column from single-line-of-text into multi-line-of-text and enable the "use enhanced rich text".
