Output format in the topics

Hi Team,

Regarding the topic feature, is there a way we can control the output format from the agent that triggers the flow—aside from using Adaptive Cards?
I’m currently using an action flow to retrieve the output, but it always comes in string format. Is there a way to format the output as a numbered list or bullet points instead?

Why would you want to send a Flow, bullet points?

Or do you mean you want to format the output you received from the Flow?

the answer is you can certainly format it pretty much anyway you want, but I'd have to understand what the current format and structure is of the output from the flow.

once you get that, you can create a new Variable, use Set Variable under variable management, and use Power FX to format it however you want including an HTML string that is bullets etc.

Is that what you want?

Thank you for the repsonse.

The output of the flow action is in string.

So, I can try setting this variable and writing a PowerFx formula to display the data as a bullet point list, numbered list, or table—right?

Can I please verify, when you say output, do you mean to the Chat UX itself?

Do you want people to just see them or be able to select them etc?

I just want to make sure I know before I answer. I thought you were simply trying to create output, you didn't specify where its going.
