Added O365 Connector, but receiving Invocation of unknown or unsupported function

Hi everyone,

I just added the Office 365 Connector to my PowerApps form, and the status/state shows as Connected, but when I try to specifically use the Office365Users.UserProfile(InfoAbout.Text).Department function, I receive the above error, Invocation of unknown or unsupported function.

I've attached a screenshot just to provide additional information.

Anyone know what might be going on here? I do appreciate the help!

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you create a custom form for your SP list using PowerApps?

Could you please share a bit more about the InfoAbout within the formula that you provided?

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The screenshot as below:

Please check if you have created a connection to Office 365 Users connector with a proper Office 365 account within your app.

Please also make sure the Office 365 account that you use to create a connection to Office 365 Users connector is a work or school Office 365 account rather than your personal Office 365 account.

Note:  Currently, the functions the Office 365 Users connector provides could not work with personal Office 365 account.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Hi Kris,

Thanks for your response, and apologies for my late one!

To answer your questions, yes, I did create a custom form for my SP list using PowerApps, and I did make sure to use my work O365 account, which is also a GA. Permissions are definitely not an issue.

What information are you asking for, regarding the InfoAbout bit? Where can I find that?

Also, to update, I also created an AzureAD connection, since our organization uses that, and I am experiencing the exact same invocation error when trying to do a similar lookup using AzureAD commands.

I created the O365 and AzureAD connectors after creating the form. I thought maybe I needed to recreate the form to take advantage of those connections, but even doing that did not resolve my issue. Any thoughts on what's going on here?

    Thanks again!

Anyone have any other ideas as to what might be going on? I've tried creating a new screen and connecting to my list, but I'm getting the same error.

I managed to figure out what the issue was. If anyone else encounters the "Invocation of unknown or unsupported function" error message, make sure you not only create the connection to O365 Users, but also add that data source to the form you're working on. That's what did it for me and allowed me to use those functions.
