    Hi @Anonymous ,

Since MySql is a on-promise  database, you need to use gateway to connect with it.

You could seen gateway as a bridge between the on-premises data and PowerApps.

So firstly, you need to download a gateway.

Here's a doc about how to download a gateway for your reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-install

About username and password, they are the certification Information when you log in MySql.

Please check your MySql's identity Information.

Here's a doc about how to connect with SQL server (the same as MySQL) for your reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/connection-azure-sqldatabase

    Hi @Anonymous ,

This error shoule ba about your network or gateway.

Here are some tips for your reference:

Please check your gateway's status. Make sure that you've installed the latest version.

Please check your network port in your sql premise data gateaway.

Make suare that you create MySQL connection within the server where Gateway is installed.

Anything , checking your gateway's setting may help you solve your problem.

Here's a doc about this for your reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-app
