Hi,
Is it possible to recognize text (OCR) from images, for example if I take photos of documents? We would like to capture photos and send the recognized text over to CRM.

As far as I know, PowerApps cannot do that so far.
You could post this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.

is there any way can we Scan the Business cards from powerapps and extract the output into sharepoin text list ?
You could also develop a custom connector to the Vision/OCR and then use it within a PowerApp. I did a similaer thing for facial recognition. I created a custom connector so that My PowerApp could use my face (captured thru my mobile camera) to retrieve my contact and case detail from Dynamics 365.

Isn’t it easier to just use a scanner for cards and documents or apps like evernote and so on?Moreover, all this is freely available.
