Hi All,

We are facing a issue in SharePoint, one table lookup column showing [object object] instead of numeric value. Rest of the columns are fine.

Column Type - Lookup

Any help on this?

    Hi @jamerishi ,

    How did you add these items into the list? If you manually create new items using default SharePoint functionality, will it act the same?

    Best regards,

    Hi @jamerishi ,

     Then this should relate to SharePoint column formatting. Could you please share the settings of the column in your list?

    Best regards,

    Hi @jamerishi ,

    You can check it with following steps:

    1. Format this column

    2. Advanced mode

    3.

    If you see different schema, you may try mine first, it's the default schema that I've never changed:

    {
     "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json"
    }

    Hi @v-jefferni ,

    Below is the schema:

    {
    "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/column-formatting.schema.json",
    "elmType": "a",
    "txtContent": "@currentField",
    "attributes": {
    "target": "_blank",
    "href": "=if(indexOf([$ContentTypeId], '0x0120') >= 0, '?id=' + [$FileRef], @currentWeb + '/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc='+ [$UniqueId] + '&action=View')"
    }
    }

    Hi @jamerishi ,

    Yes, this is exactly the problem. If you just want to see the default value setting in column settings

    vjefferni_0-1710407568766.png

    just copy my schema and paste into yours, then save the change.

    {
     "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json"
    }

    Hi @jamerishi ,

    I suggest you ask a question in SharePoint community. There may be other settings for this column that I don't know.

    Best regards,
