Update SharepPoint Item- Status not Updating

Hi Guys,

I've created an approval flow based on an already existing SharePoint list in my organisation.

The flow runs well, except that when a request is approved or rejected, this does not reflect on SharePoint.

For instance, a rejected request (on Flow) still shows Status "In progress" on SharePoint.

I have tried to use the Update Item action within the flow, but there are no options to update the status of the request on SharePoint.

Please is there a way out?

Thank you again Michael for this feedback.
The workaround will involve updating our workflows... I'll try this out with my SharePoint Admin.

Hi @D1Rubie,

Apologize to say that currently it is not available to Update some fields for SharePoint lists using Microsoft Flow Update item Action.

And I think the field you used here should be a choice field, there is an idea submitted on this:

SharePoint - Update Item Choice Field

For a workaround, please consider add another Text field for the Status, then using Microsoft Flow to update this Text type Status field.
