Hi,
I have created a action using the template 'SharePoint-Update Item'
Using this I have set Site Address,List Name and Id.
After this I have set column StatusOld to Status Value.
StatusOld column is of type 'Single line of text'
Actually there is another column of name 'Status' where I could not see in the dynamic content.
Status column is of type 'Choice'
I was able to see only Status Value in the Dynamic content.
Now after clicking on 'Save flow' on the below,it is pointing to another mandatory columns and displaying message on the top as'Definition contains invalid parameters'.
Please let me know if I am making any mistake here as I am new to MS flow
Regards,
Sudheer
Hi @sudheermadduru,
Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?
Could you please show more details about your SharePoint list?
Do you want to update the Status column value into the StatusOld column within your flow?
Further, could you please share more details about the error message?
I suppose that you want to update the Status column value into the StatusOld column within your flow, is it true? I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. My flow's configuration as below:
Note: The Status column is a Choice type column and the StatusOld column is a Single line of text type column.
The flow works successfully as below:
Please check if you have filled a proper value within Title field (Required field) of "Update item" action of your flow. On my side, the Title field of "Update item" action set to Title dynamic content of the trigger.
Best regards,
Kris
