Modern Controls Checkbox

Hi everyone,

I have a canvas app linked to an MS List. I have a few fields where they are choice boxes in the MS List and currently dropdowns in the power app (see attached) or https://ibb.co/61TgZnh . The choices are Yes and No , there were reasons for opting for choices instead of the true false due to the initial data import into the lists.
However I would like to design the app in a way where if the checkbox is ticked the answer will record as Yes in the MS List and if unchecked/unticked it will record as no. Is this possible and does anyone have guidance to follow?

This blog of mine sets out the process (although it is using Classic Controls which I recommend you stay with presently anyway.

hi Warren , thank you for the reply. Seems like it would work , my only question would be how to point the answer to the question on the list? as there is no items selection on the properties of the old style check box? on top facing this error

I would normally say (for many other reasons) use a Classic control (Modern items just are not "there yet"). You should be able to do this one using the Checked property instead of Default. Also the Update of the Data Card is CheckBoxName.Checked, not .Value
