Using dataverse column values in 'Excel-like' formula for business calculator

Hi there,

I have a series of values in a dataverse table across 5 columns.

In my Canvas app, I have linked the datasource of a dropdown to be one of the dataverse columns. I want to create a calculation, so that, when the user selects a certain value in this dropdown, the app grabs it's corresponding value in the same 'row' in a different column, so then I can use that value in a mathematical operation.

So, for example, LookUp the user's selected value in the dropdown across into another column on the same row and return that value.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Phil

    Hello PhilGlew,

You can use a code like below

Based on your drop-down use lookup to get the value.

Lookup('Table Name', TableGuid =GUID of record)
