Blob storage connector and Firewalls - 403 for any known IP ranges

Hello,

I have an app that have a connection to my Blob storage. Now I'm going to apply some Firewall rules on the related Storage account. My app environment is located in Europe. I've whitelisted all IPs from here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/limits-and-config#ip-addresses

Also option "Allow trusted Microsoft services to access this storage account" in firewall setting is picked on.

But the app (in browser) gives me 403 when tries to load pics from blob storage!

I've also tried to add some ranges related to AzureConnections from here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56519

My local IP is also whitelisted.

Am I missing something? There should be a way to restrict access to Blob storage since the connector uses shared connection credentials.

Everything I know for sure is that 100.0.0.0/8 makes the job for me if whitelisted. But nothing similar could be found on docs.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Was the Blob connector working without changing any rules in the firewall?

Are you able to download anything through the connection?

Please also check the limitations mentioned here and see if any apply.

    Thank you,

    Ovidiu

Hello. Yes, as I said the connection was working before the firewall rules and with 100.0.0.0/8 subnet whitelisted. Referenced limitations are not applicable

    Hi @Anonymous,

It might also be worth checking with the Azure Community since everything is working fine under default conditions.

What I suspect is the Blob storage account might hit some of the restrictions you are imposing with the firewall rules.

    Thank you,

    Ovidiu
