Embedding Model-Driven and Portal PowerApps on SharePoint pages

I've seen a lot of documentation about how to embed Canvas Apps on SharePoint pages, but almost nothing for embeding Model-Driven or Portal Apps.

Is it possible/recommended to embed these two types of apps on SharePoint Online Pages?

How about SharePoint onprem or other website that do not have a Azure Active Directory (AAD) based authentication?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @vladschiop ,

I'm afraid the functions that you mentioned are all not supported in PowerApps currently.

The embed Canvas Apps on SharePoint pages acactully is a sharepoint custom form, just using PowerApps to customize.

It is a form, not an app.

What's more, the intergration with PowerApps is limited. The services that not use Azure Active Directory (AAD) are all not supported.

The most frequent usage is PowerBIintergration and SharePointinttergration.

Here are doc about them for your reference:

Any update? Is still impossible to embed a model driven app in Sharepoint?

    Hi @vladschiop & @v-yutliu-msft ,

I've just tested this and managed to make it work...

I've tried to added model driven app through Embed (web part). Here is the official MS source.

Don't forget to whitelist domain you'll be adding in iframe src attribute.

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Thanks Jan,

I was able to follow your breadcrumb trail and got this working too.

Saves time having our database embedded straight on our Sharepoint page 👍

The only thing I found was that it looks strange on a phone - I added a direct link to land me in the app itself and that works fine.
