Flow getting triggered whenever already created item gets modified

Hi all,

I created a flow to check two conditions when Planned Start date is equal to today's date and Review status is conducted or closed which is of type Instant flow and gets triggered from PowerApps save button.

When created for the first time it is getting triggered fine. But when the same item's other columns are getting modified it keeps triggering the flow and sending email.

I want the flow to get triggered only when the condition satisfices.

Any suggestions on this?

You can use the automated flow instead of Instant flow. And set the trigger on the list you are using.

OR

You can use the condition block in the power automate for your instant flow. Checks the condition just after the trigger and put rest of the steps in the Yes block. And nothing in the NO block. But, you will need to manage your app logic in a way that condition only met once.

My suggestion Automated flow will be better.

Hi @zmansuri ,
I tried creating automated flow along with get changes when an item or file is modified(properties only) but has column changed is returning false even though the column gets changed.
