how to respond to User replies like "thanks" "haha"

When our users reply with pretty common responses like Haha or thanks at the end of a topic (as it answered the question) the bot goes straight into the fallback of I didnt understand..

For variations of hello, how are you, hi, etc we created a separate topic using those triggers - thanks, haha etc are a little harder to corral into one topic - is there any other suggestions?

Using PVA in teams only at the moment.

The keywords used for Topics don't really need to relate to each other.  They just need to have a related action that you want to take.  For the responses you are quoting I normally create a Topic with those keywords that asks if the user needs any other help, provide them with some suggested topics, and then exits the bot.  If they respond their response can then be picked up as a new response for a different bot.

The other thing to consider is reviewing the analytics weekly or monthly after deploying a bot.  That can help you find replies like this that can be used to make the bot more efficient.

    Hello @ev00

Use separate topics for thanks and haha.

you could have a topic trigger on Haha, Lol, Etc.

and the other on Thanks, Thank you, TY, Etc.
