Complex if-statement

Posted on by 17

Hi

I have a Canvas-App with two different Dataverse-tables in the background. One is called "Clients", the other one is called "Policies".

Every record in "Clients" has its unique field "ClientID" which is also used in "Policies" to assign each record in "Policies" to a specific client (so ClientID is available in both tables)

In "Clients" there is a choice-column called"Category". One of the possible choices is "Active".

In "Policies" there is a column called "Premium".

My goal is to get the sum of all Policies that are assigned to a Client whose Category is "Active".

Can anyone help me with that?

Thanks for all the great solutions here in the forum. Without it, I don't know how I would do it...
