Filter a dropdown control based on values in a sharepoint list

Hello guys,

Right this is  probably supersimple but for some reason I cant see it.

I have my timesheet system, works lovely. Within the timesheet system there is a dropdown control that looks at a sharepoint list to get a distinct list of items.

Im trying to filter the dropdown controls items based on wether or not the second column in the sharepoint list contains the word no. The behaviour I want is for the items in the dropdown list to only show if the second column shows no !.

The sharepoint list is called UID list and contains two columns one for the UID number and the other containing a yes if its inactive and a no if its active.

I absolutely cannot seem to get any iteration of the filter function  to work ! not even referral to the mighty Shane Young youtube channel could crack it !! (im probably just dumb as a box o rocks)

can anyone help

Much love and merry xmas

    Hi, @Anonymous...

We'll need to know the names of your SharePoint columns (and probably get a glimpse at what you've tried already) in order to suggest meaningful solutions. Can you share?

I'm guessing your information is probably sensitive info, but it may help if you provided some dummy-data or a hypothetical example with similar data types.

Based on what I seem to understand, it's as simple as setting your dropBox.Item property to:

    Filter(UID, YesOrNoColumn = "No")

    Hello,

ill try to contextualise as much as I can

the app is the black screen below, currently users select thier hours and click the plus symbol to add them to a gallery  where they can review them and submit to SharePoint when they are happy.

the select a project dropdown is populated from a sharepoint  list (see below). the list has two columns.

What im trying to do is filter the items in the project dropdown by wether the UID is active or inactive. In this case yes or no

    I've tried

    Filter('UID List','UID List'.'Inactive UIDs' = "No")

I get the delegation warning under Inactive uids but there is only 175 items on the sharepoint list and a red squiggly under the = sign

    Thanks for your help chaps
