Hi,

I am new to the power app.  I created the app by selected the option from the screen 1.

Screen 1:

Not sure why I have the name I highlighted from the screen  2 and how can I rename it.

    Hi hh2022,

    Welcome to the powerapps community.

Hoping this helps you and if I understand properly what your problem is you will need to go back into edit your app (where you see Screen1 ,...) and then go to the settings screen like below.

From my picture you can see below the name heading you can click on the pencil icon and edit the name.

Hope this works and have a great day 😁.

Hi,  Thanks for your replied.   There is no pencil and the name field is not editable when I click on setting, see below.

    Dear hh2022,

From your diagram in the Name section I see that you do not have the pencil icon after what you highlighted in yellow. This leads me to believe you do not appear to have the permissions to change the name.

    • Check with your PowerApps admin person if you are supposed to have them.

Without completing the above, another option you could do is open a second create a new blank app, save it with the correct name, then copy and paste each screen in from the old app to the new app. Don't forget any connectors (Messy but would work).

    Good luck,

    SydEng
