Dataverse Database capacity and file capacity size

Posted on by 179

Hi All,

Our organisation planning to go with the Power App Per-App based license model. We are planning to buy 100 licences for 100 users.

So the total Database capacity will be 50 X 100 = 5 GB + 5GB (by default as of first sucbscription)

                    File capacity = 400X 100 = 40 GB + 20GB (by default as of first sucbscription)

Can someone please give me a rough estimation of how many records will be able to store on the above figure (database capacity) and how many photos will be able to store on file storage ( file capacity)?
I know it depends on the number of fields, number of entities, photo qualities, etc, but I would like to know your experience.
Thanks.

    Hi @Vidanaw,

From an example of one of my customers...

    Tables

    1. Table A with probably 16 custom columns and 8279 records is 11.84 MB
    2. Table B with probably 36 custom columns and 6792 records is 8.84 MB
    3. Account Table with 7482 records is 13.79 MB
    4. I would also add about 1GB of space for the instance itself when created

I don't have good data on files at this point but hopefully this helps you get started on the storage.

Hope this helps.  Please accept if answers your question or Like if helps in some way.

    Thanks,

    Drew
