Display Folders in a Documents Subgrid

As far as I can remember, it used to be the case that you could get folders to display in a Documents subgrid by changing the isrecursive condition in the view to No; however, this seems to have removed. Oddly enough, views with the this filter continue to function.

Does anyone have any idea how to get folders to display in a SharePoint Documents subgrid?

    Hi @donalmc

As per OOB, this is not achievable.

And so the the OOTB option is what?  Anything other than a canvas app?

    Well, I created this today:

but I do not use the OOB solution entirely. I have document management enabled on an entity (our estimating log) and then a series of flows that create a folder in sharepoint and then update the Document Locations table with the pertinent info from that folder and the related entity.

    Edit:

It's a moderately involved process, but if you're interested just let me know and I'll try to post a walkthrough here.

    Edit 2:

Oo I realize too late you're talking about embedding a subgrid elsewhere in your form. I saw a solution for this that modifies an exported solution...you have to do something with FormXML. Beyond me, at the moment, but if you google document subgrid and FormXML you'll find what you're looking for, I think.
