ClosedCaptionsURL - Video Control in Canvas App Assistance Needed.

I have a video that is stored on a document library in a SharePoint. I added the video to my canvas app, and have downloaded the .VTT file, and inputted the URL in the "ClosedCaptionsURL" Property, however, when the toggle for captions is turned on, no captions are being displayed. Can someone please assist?
