Success Notification displays the warning banner instead of the success banner

Patching a Dataverse table with NotificationType.Success works as expected, displaying my success message with the success banner. But patching a SharePoint List with NotificationType.Success displays my success message with the warning banner. Is that to be expected?

hey

what does the warning banner say? normally this only comes up while patching when the code for example is not working and the item can not be saved.

can you tell us which text the banner displays? and also the patch code. please copy and paste it in the code snipped section here.

The warning banner said, "Submitted." based on the code I entered: Notify("Submitted", NotificationType.Success), and the data was saved correctly to my SharePoint List. However, the style of the success banner displayed was a warning style, yellow with a warning icon, instead of green with a checkmark icon.

I fixed it by replacing my "form" with an Edit Form control, connected to my SharePoint List. Works perfectly as expected: "Submitted." with a green banner and checkmark icon.
