Date/Time difference - apps and Excel

Hi, I have a simple canvas app to register two fields: Date and Issue description. The data is stored in Excel file in OneDrive.
I have an issue with Date data registered:
When I add Date and time in the app -> then:
-in the app the Date/time is ok
-in Excel file there is always -1 hour difference.

I checked the date format in:
-PoweApp and it's equal to Local (UTC - 1)
-In Excel field - it's also UTC-1

Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi ,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

This time zone discrepancy between your PowerApps canvas app and the Excel file in OneDrive could be resolved as follows:

Check Time Zone Settings: Ensure that both your PowerApps and Excel are set to the same time zone. Sometimes, even if they appear to be set correctly, there might be a hidden discrepancy.

Use TimeZoneOffset Function: In PowerApps, you can use the TimeZoneOffset function to adjust the time. For example, you can add the time zone offset to the date and time value before saving it to Excel:

    PowerApps
    DateAdd(DateValue, TimeZoneOffset(), Minutes)

Verify Stored Value: Check the raw date and time value stored in Excel. Sometimes, the issue might be with how the date and time are being stored and displayed. Ensure that the stored value is in the correct format and time zone.

Adjust in Excel: If the issue persists, you can create a formula in Excel to adjust the time difference. For example, if your PowerApps data is in UTC and you are in UTC-1, you would subtract 1 hour from the

    PowerApps time value.
Daylight Saving Time: Ensure that both PowerApps and Excel account for any Daylight Saving Time changes if applicable to your region.

You can find more detailed information on troubleshooting date and time issues in PowerApps in this documentation

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.

If this resolves the issue, kindly mark it as resolved to enable others find this solution.

    Kind regards,
