Need help publishing a simple canvas app I built for my team

Hello all,

I used a template to make a simple help desk canvas app for my team to use. I have been trying to figure out how to publish it to a production environment that will allow me to share the app with my team by security groups. I cannot find a production environment that I can publish it to, and it appears that I do not have permission to create a production environment. Does anyone have guidance on how to get this app published so my team can start receiving value from it?

You need to reach out to your IT department or administrator for your Power Platform environments.

I think the answer will very much depend on what's been set up by your organisation and the governance around the Power Platform. Therefore reaching out to your IT department is probably best first step.

That said, can you clarify where you built your canvas up? Was it in a personal developer environment? If that's the case, you should be able to export it and import it into another environment that your team can access. The default environment is an environment that generally everyone has access to.

Thank you both for the responses. I contacted my local IT team to see if they can point me in the right direction.

To answer timl's question (this is not letting me direct mention you), I created it in a personal development environment. I have attempted to follow instructions on Microsoft Learn to export and publish it, but I think my inexperience with power apps is making me run in to roadblocks which are possibly self-generated. I think I'm in a "I don't know what I don't know" situation.
