Using User Email for lookup

Hi all,

I want to use the User E-Mail to look in a connected excel table for another value, which I can use later to filter a ComboBox.

I tried it with a simple lookup:

LookUp(UserInfo, UserMail=User().Email, Country)

But it's not working.

Does anybody know why?

Thank you!

    Can you give a little more information on your data, table name etc. Your formula looks fine.
    LookUp(UserInfo, UserMail=User().Email, Country)

    Sure, sorry.

    The table name is 'UserInfo', it has only two columns, one is named 'UserMail' and the other one 'Country'.

    @Anonymous Your forumula, looks fine, can you please add a screenshot of your excel data if that's okay with you. And can i know what is the error you are getting in that formula?

    As i said earlier your formula if fine. I have tested it at my end. Kindly look at data source in your UserMail if it corresponds to the User().Email.

    Attached a screenshot of the excel table and the formula + what I get as value (false).

    The E-mail address in the excel sheet corresponds to the User().Email.

    It will definitely be resolved. What about another textbox, or logout login

    Hi all,

    I will throw my 20c worth in (probably all that it is worth).

    This causes a delegation issue with SharePoint - not sure on Excel.

    It might be worth trying

    UpdateContext({vEmail:User().Email});
    LookUp(
     UserInfo,
     UserMail=vEmail,
     Country
    )
