I want to have excel like grids in a model driven app form. The existing editable grid and power app grid control don't have the functionality to create new records without leaving the grid. Plus it seems like it's not possible to choose which form will open when new record button is clicked.
Do you have any suggestions ? Is custom pcf control the way ? Or are you using premade ones?
I would probably roll a custom PCF personally, but there is also this one on the PCF Gallery which does let you add new rows, the UI is just a pretty big departure from the rest of the MDA experience.
You can also easily write “add row” button using power fix or JavaScript on the main grid and and JavaScript on the subgrid (need to use JavaScript to get current entity Id for creating new row u der this parent record)
