Put the Edit Form in New Mode by putting this code in the OnVisible property of the screen

    NewForm(Form1)

Now when you navigate to the screen and submit an entry it will create a new record

Thank you I tried that and it still doesn’t work.   I am pulling a risk assessment in from a sharepoint list which I want users to be able to edit then save back to the list as a new item – what it does is overwrite the item in the list instead of adding a new item.  Many thanks

Have you tried changing the DefaultMode of the Form to this code:

    FormMode.New

If I do that all the text disappears. I have a dropdown box where the users select the Risk Asessment - it then populates the fields with the text for the Risk Asessment, I need users to be able to make any changes they need for their own department then resave as a new risk assessment. I cannot get it to do this as it just overwrites the original risk assessment pulled in from the drop down box

Have you tried doing a PATCH to create a new record based off of an existing record?

    Patch(your_datasource_name, Defaults(your_datasource_name, Form1.Updates)
