Hi,

If we use same Entity / table, in Site Map, so it has 2 Subarea using same Entity, can we specify different Default value on each ?

So I created 2 view in this 1 entity, and in I want to have 2 Subarea, which 1 subarea display View1 and other subarea display View2.

In ModelApp Editor after we close SiteMap, the view setup only listed 1 entity so I cannot choose.

Please help

Thanks

    Hi @Axal,

No, this is not available through standard setup functionality.  Ran into this in the past as well trying to show Suppliers and Customers (both Accounts) in the past.

You could submit an Idea (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas) for this...

Hope this helps.  Please accept if answers your question or Like if helps in some way.

    Thanks,

    Hi @dpoggemann

Thanks for confirming. As I search, there is already an idea which look alike, so I voted.

    Here it is :

Allow the same entity to be included and filtered ... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

But, am wondering, is there anyone who thought of some workaround to accomplish this needs? Kindly share, since from the vote, we don't when it will come to Microsoft notice.

    Thanks

    Hi @Axal ,

Just a thought but what about setting navigation to URL and have it be the path to the View so when they click on it the view will be opened...

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/model-driven-apps/open-forms-views-dialogs-reports-url

I did this in the navigation of the app in a test (set to Active Accounts View instead of "My Active Accounts" which was the default and it worked, it opened up another tab with this view.  I did not go through and try to figure out how to open in same tab...

I know I named it wrong (Account All View) but it was actually set to All Active Accounts view 😀

Hope this helps.  Please accept if answers your question or Like if helps in some way.

    Thanks,

    Hey,

Do we know how to configure it such that it opens in the same tab.

    Thanks
