Hi,
I'm looking for a solution approach / best design for the below requirement.
Using Model driven app , need to upload bulk excel data's and store it in data verse.
e.g 100 excel files with size ranging between 10 to15 mb per day.
I think for extracting the data from excel first we need to convert the excel format to table(probably we can achieve with office script recording in Excel online) . Please guide for any better approach
Appreciate if you could guide me some best options for designing this architecture.
Thanks
Hello @KishoreJ,
Yes we can use but there also we need some standard excel so that we can create flow accordingly and we need to keep Excel in Onedrive or SharePoint too.

Hi @rampprakash
Thanks for the direction, Appreciate your suggestion.
One more solution we can think for this scenario i.e. Using PowerAutomate convert the excel(user format) to csv , then import the csv to dataverse with ease.
Any suggestions please feel free..
Thanks
Hello @KishoreJ,
As per OOB Behavior there is no Standard way to achieve the same. While importing we can make Data Map for the same. My Suggestion provide the standard format to the User so that we can upload easily.

Hi @rampprakash
Steps which you have mentioned is kind of one time process especially for dataflows into data verse from excel.
But here the requirement is end user will upload the excel in their own standard format in the Model driven app screen, behind the scene it should extract the data from the excel and load it into the data verse.
Thanks
Hello @KishoreJ,
DataVerse will Support Excel import with 32 MB
For importing you need to first Generate an Excel For that
1. Navigate to https://make.powerapps.com
2. Click On Gear Icon at the Top
3. Select Advance Settings
4. Once the Advance Settings Opened
5. Click Filter Symbol at the Top
Select the Entity in Look For and Click Edit Columns
Once Edit Column opens click Add Column then add the Columns --> then Field added click Ok and Click Result and Download the Excel
Clear the Data and Map with New Data based on your excel. Once done Save the File as CSV format.
then Import the File thats it 🙂
