Hello,
I have a canvas app connected to a SharePoint list. My current list has over 2500 records and my canvas app only shows 2000 records. to Summarize, I've reached my limit.Do you please have a solution that will allow me to view all the records in the SharePoint list?
Hi @Nadine123 ,
A very broad question as you obviously are using a non-Delegable query. What is the code (in Text please) you are using and where are you using it ?
Hi,
I do not use delegation, I display the list data as it is, the limitation is of the Powerapps limitation which does not allow displaying more than 2000 lines, is there a way to display all lines beyond 2000 lines, i used it in gallery.
Delegation (or lack of) is something you do not choose - it is an in-built function and the extent depends on your query and data source. I have a blog that may be useful to you. I need the Items of your Gallery to determine if I can assist with better Delegation.
Thank you for your help. It's much appreciated. I solved my problem by copying the data source to a local collection.
@Nadine123 ,A collection is also limited to 2,000 items unless you start "stacking" collections - I assume this is what you did?
Hi @WarrenBelz ,
Exactly. Do you have a different approach?
Hi @Nadine123
Refer this link also, it may provide you with additional assistance: Solved: How can i manage to filter more than 2000 records - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
The video referenced is very complex and would have substantial performance penalties. If you have less than 4,000 items you can easily "stack" two collections (which is what I was referring to) as per this blog of mine.
