2 collections in one gallery possible?

Hi, I want to use two collections for a gallery because the data is seperate.

Is there an easy way to do this?

My two collections are:  1. BuyRecords
                                       2.UsedRecords

Im new to powerapps so please tell me the syntax

    Hey @tsangd, Yes, It is possible.

    Using the filter function you can do this.

    assumes the ID columns are matching criteria and will return the name as a result.  Note While First is not delegable,  Filter is so it will work on any number of records.

    You can use this one :-
     First(Filter(Othercollection,ID=ThisItem.Empid).Name

    Thanks for the reply but what is ID? im getting an error at that 

     

    First(Filter(UseRecord,ID=ThisItem.BuyPerson).UseDate)

    @tsangd actually it's "not" possible two show 2 collections in one Gallery. A Gallery is meant for displaying data from a single collection. So each record of a collection will be one Item in the collection.

     

    But you could join both collections into a single collection for example. Or you could lookup information from a second collection. 

     

    Maybe you could describe in more detail what you are trying to achieve. How do the 2 collections relate to each other?
