Dataverse for Teams Choice Column Default Choice not showing in Canvas App Form

Hello Power Apps Community,

Can you help please?

In Dataverse for Teams I created a "Choice" column, and added a "Default choice" value.

When I'm in the "back end" of Dataverse for Teams and adding a row manually, the Choice column "Payment Schedule"'s "Default choice" value "Month" auto populates, see screenshot below:.

But when I create a new row in a Canvas App which is connected to the respective table, the Choice column "Payment Schedule" in the Form does not auto populate with the "Default choice" value of "Month".

Any idea why it's behaving differently in the Canvas App and not displaying the "Default choice" value of "Month"?

Hi @GarryPope ,

Please set the combo box's DefaultSelectedItems property to:

If( IsBlank(Parent.Default), Filter(Choices(TableName.'Payment Schedle'),Text(Value)="Month"), [Parent.Default] )
