What is the Truth about Power Apps And SharePoint?

Hello,

 

Does anyone know the actual truth about delegation with SharePoint.  According to MS, the Search function is able to delegate to SharePoint but in real life no matter what or how I try, Search can NOT be delegated to SharePoint. I always 100% of the time get a yellow error.

 

Does anyone know the truth?

    SEARCH cannot be delegated in SharePoint.
