Microsoft critical bugs with prompts (truncate)

Hi,

Since Microsoft updated last Copilot Studio and moved "Prompts" to "Extend Microsoft > AI plugins", all existing prompts have been truncate and are broken.

- We cannot edit anymore that prompt (only description)

- We tried also to edit from powerplatform, but prompts are truncate and corrupt.

Any idea if Microsoft will patch that critical fix ? it's quite amazing to have a data loss.

Hi,

It's not fixed and data are lost. All prompt we saved are truncate.

We can access to prompt, but only edit description, no possibility to edit again inputs, name, type, etc.

Can you open a support ticket for this? This change should not have affected your content, and you should no longer see the extend menu.

Hi Peter,

No it looks not possible to contact support directly.. I'm curious to know how we can contact support from copilot studio.

This applies to Designer not sure if applies to CoPilot Studio

On the IOS Designer app, Under My Projects, Generated Images, you will see a collage of your images each image as a tree dot menu option in the upper right corner. One option is Copy Prompt, This will copy the entire original prompt to your IOS clipboard. This is only way I have been able to recover my original prompts. No idea if the Android app is similar. Designer on a Chrome webpage does not have this option under the three dot menu. Have not tried native Windows App

Again my experience is only with Designer, Good Luck.
